Last Tuesday another truck came up our long lane and turned into our driveway. Over 20 boxes were unloaded into our great room. Frank was intensely animated. He had to open one of them right away. Then he made himself go back and finish his project--cutting frames and trim for our doors into the laundry room, our bedroom, the closet, and the door at the bottom of the stairs.
As soon as he could, he was back up opening boxes. Like Christmas! He could hardly wait, and didn't want to stop until all of them were open. Then he set the contents up like they would evemtually be. They were our kitchen cabinets, and they are beautiful. During the next two days, he installed them all . Here they are. What do you think?
I worked on sanding dry wall in the study. Next I started sanding frames, trim, and doors.
Frank picked up our flooring and started laying flooring in the great room.
This is how far he got by Monday when we had to leave.
Frank's mother passed away early Monday morning. We are now in the Lancaster area with family for several days.
